Flow-through farming works when a stable high-quality water source can provide the required flow, temperature and safe discharge conditions.
A flow farm is a farm where water flows continuously from a source, passes through basins or growing channels, and is discharged. Unlike RAS, water does not circulate in a closed circle - it is used once.
The main advantage of direct flow is its relative technological simplicity. But it only works with a stable water source.
