When do you need fish farm reconstruction and modernization?
It is useful before buying equipment, starting construction, renovating an existing farm or launching a new production line, when an engineering mistake can be expensive.
We work with existing facilities: we eliminate technological errors, adapt the premises for fish farming, replace outdated components and bring the farm to design parameters. The format ranges from a one-time visit with an expert opinion to a reconstruction project, equipment supply and implementation support.
Reconstruction of the sturgeon RAS shopFish farm reconstruction and modernization helps fix the technical logic of a fish farm before major spending on construction or equipment. It reduces redesign risk and gives a clear implementation path. Reconstruction improves capacity, fixes weak water treatment points and adapts an existing facility to a new production target.
Operating farms and premises adapted for fish farming often face the same problems: the system does not reach its designed capacity, the water quality is unstable, individual components are calculated or installed incorrectly, and there is no safety margin.
In such cases, what is needed is not a spot replacement, but a technical check of the entire facility: on-site inspection, measurements, calculated re-checking of components, identification of bottlenecks and a step-by-step correction plan.
The set of stages depends on the initial situation: sometimes a visit and conclusion is enough, sometimes a complete reconstruction with a project, replacement of equipment and support is needed.
| Stage | What we do | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Collection of initial data | We study the task, the condition of the facility, the composition of the equipment, complaints about operation, floor plans and measurements. | Scope of the survey and list of initial data. |
| 2. Departure and inspection | Inspection of the premises, tanks, operating units, communications and equipment layout. | Understanding the actual configuration and limitations. |
| 3. Measurements and calculation check | We check hydraulics, water quality, purification units, oxygenation, disinfection, redundancy, and layout. | List of bottlenecks and actual power limitations. |
| 4. Written opinion | We record problems, their causes and the degree of impact on the operation of the farm. | Ready expert opinion for decision making. |
| 5. Correction plan | Technical solutions: replacement of components, retrofitting, phased modernization, conversion to RAS. | A clear plan of action for reconstruction. |
| 6. Project stage | If necessary, a reconstruction project, working documentation, and a list of equipment. | Documentation for the implementation of work. |
| 7. Implementation | Supply and installation of equipment, commissioning and implementation support. | Entry into operational operation and target parameters. |
Expert opinion, conclusions on the current state, list of problems and recommendations for correction.
Conclusion on the site, placement restrictions and recommendations on cultivation and equipment strategies.
Concept or reconstruction project, working documentation, list of equipment and implementation plan.
Reconstruction, modernization and audit of existing fish farming facilities.
Reconstruction of sturgeon recirculation system - 50 tons of marketable fish per year, 2400 m². Water treatment and recycling system, 24 pools of 40 m³ each and pre-sale preparation pools.
Modernization of the African catfish farm - up to 20 tons/year, 150 m². Replacement of water treatment units and return to design capacity.
Reconstruction and retrofitting of the sturgeon complex: design, production of equipment, installation, commissioning and commissioning.
Modernization of a trout farm: design work, working documentation, production and installation of equipment, commissioning.
Independent examination of an existing fish farm with subsequent modernization.

What the result might look like: a conclusion on the object, conclusions on the condition and a step-by-step correction plan.
Of the existing structures, it is advisable to use only open concrete pools. Concrete repair, replacement of pipelines, membrane coating and insulated hangar 25x26 m. Step by step: 1st stage - up to 25 tons of trout and 20 tons of sturgeon; 2nd stage - up to 50 tons of trout.
The dimensions of the room are suitable for RAS, but require insulation, vapor barrier and new floors. Concrete channels - with reservations, free areas - for expansion. 3 stages: from “Aquafarmer-800” to channel integration.
The former bathhouse is not suitable for RAS pools, but is suitable for auxiliary functions. The site allows you to place a workshop and the Aquafarmer-2500 installation for up to 2.5 tons of sturgeon/year. We need water analysis from the well and drainage testing.
Layout errors were identified: inoperative biofilter, insufficient degassing, issues with fur. cleaning and UV. The goal is to correct and increase the capacity from 50 to 60 tons of sturgeon/year. 2 stages are recommended.

After the inspection, approval of the technical solution and scope of work, we proceed to the supply and installation of process equipment with commissioning and implementation support.
Clear answers to the questions that usually appear before a RAS fish farm project starts.
It is useful before buying equipment, starting construction, renovating an existing farm or launching a new production line, when an engineering mistake can be expensive.
Yes. Initial review, calculations and consultations can start from drawings, photos, videos, water analysis and a questionnaire. Site visits are added when they are technically necessary.
Prepare the target fish species, planned capacity, country or region, site or building data, water source, available utilities, existing drawings and business goals.
Describe the object and task - we will suggest a format: a visit with a conclusion, adaptation of the premises or a reconstruction project with replacement of equipment.
We will call you back, clarify the object and offer the format and scope of work.
Leave your contact - we will contact you and help you navigate the farm format, budget and next step.
